Security settings protect your data while you are away from your computer.

Changing the Master Password

1. Go to “Settings” -> “Security” (or choose “Change Password” in the main menu).
2. Enter your Current Master Password.
3. Enter the New Master Password and confirm it by entering it again.
4. Click “Change Password”. The entire database is re-encrypted with the new key.

Automatic Vault Locking

To prevent unauthorized access, configure the auto-lock options:

• Lock on timer: Set a period of user inactivity (for example, 5, 10 or 30 minutes) after which the vault locks automatically.
• Lock on minimize: Require the master password whenever the minimized window is restored.
• Lock on sign-out: Lock the vault when Windows goes to sleep or the desktop is locked (Win + L).
